There’s always a special sense of pride when a vehicle you look after continues to prove its reliability year after year. Today 22nd September 2025, our Scania L94, registration NK54 NVN - 5217 , has passed its MOT for the third year in a row – and we couldn’t be more pleased.
Built to last, the Scania L94 has always had a reputation for solid engineering, dependable performance, and a level of durability that makes it a favourite across fleets. Our example 5217, has been no exception. Despite its years on the road in service, it continues to deliver a smooth ride and a reliable vehicle.
An MOT pass is more than just a piece of paper – it’s reassurance that the vehicle is roadworthy, safe, and ready to continue doing what it does best. For us, it’s also a testament to the ongoing care and attention given to keeping 5217 in top condition, from regular maintenance to preventative checks that ensure everything is just as it should be.
Marking three consecutive passes is a real milestone. It highlights not just the quality of Scania engineering, but also the dedication of those who keep this bus in top condition - it really is a testament to our members. Every bolt, every panel, every system is part of a bigger story – a story of keeping vehicles like this running strong long after they first hit the road.
Here’s to many more years of reliability from 5217. Long may it continue rolling, proudly proving that with the right care, these machines are built to go the distance.
